Role Overview

Hire Feed is hiring a UI Engineer (Remote) on a contract basis for a client in the software development / technology sector. The role focuses on building and maintaining responsive, accessible, high-performance UI components for a platform intended to improve user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using modern frameworks.
Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility while maintaining design system consistency.
Optimize UI performance by identifying and resolving rendering and load-time bottlenecks.
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices and accessibility standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in React or Vue.js.
Experience with responsive design and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
Strong UI/UX fundamentals with ability to implement pixel-perfect designs.
Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux or Context API) and asynchronous programming.
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.

Contract Details

Work location: Remote (work from anywhere)
Rate: $30–$70/hour
