UI Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract UI Engineer (Remote) building responsive, accessible, and performant UI components for a technology platform. You’ll collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable user-facing experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive, accessible, high-performance UI components using modern frameworks
• Translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces with designers
• Ensure cross-browser/device compatibility while maintaining design system consistency
• Optimize UI performance by identifying and resolving rendering and load-time bottlenecks
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices and accessibility standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and experience with React or Vue.js
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS)
• Solid UI/UX understanding and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs
• Familiarity with state management (Redux and/or Context API) and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines for deployment

• Experience working with design systems and accessibility-first UI development
