Role Overview

UI Engineer (Remote) contract role responsible for building and maintaining responsive, accessible, high-performance UI components for a technology platform. You’ll collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable user interface solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement responsive, accessible, performant UI components using modern frameworks.
Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility while maintaining design system consistency.
Improve UI performance by identifying and resolving rendering and load-time bottlenecks.
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and follow accessibility best practices.

Requirements

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in React or Vue.js.
Experience with responsive design and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
Strong UI/UX skills and ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations.
Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and asynchronous programming.
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.

Contract Details

Remote (Work from anywhere)
Contract payout: $30–$70/hour
