About the role

Role Overview

Contract UI Engineer (Remote). You will build and maintain responsive, accessible, high-performance UI components for a technology platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using modern frameworks
Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility while keeping design system consistency
Improve UI performance by finding and fixing bottlenecks in rendering and load times
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and follow accessibility best practices

Requirements

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in React or Vue.js
Experience with responsive design and CSS preprocessors (Sass or Less)
Solid understanding of UI/UX and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs
Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and asynchronous programming
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

Experience working closely with a design system and delivering across multiple browsers/devices
