About the role

Role Overview

Contract UI Engineer (Remote) building responsive, accessible, and high-performing UI components for a technology platform. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable front-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using modern frameworks
Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility while maintaining design system consistency
Optimize UI performance by addressing bottlenecks in rendering and load times
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code aligned with best practices and accessibility standards

Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with modern UI frameworks: React or Vue.js
Responsive design skills and familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS)
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs
Experience with state management (e.g., Redux or Context API) and asynchronous programming
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines

Nice-to-Haves

Prior experience working on design-system-driven interfaces and performance-focused front-end work
