About the role
Role Overview
Contract UI Engineer / JavaScript Developer for remote work (10–40 hrs/week). You will design and build robust frontend solutions, drive architecture decisions, and mentor junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable, maintainable frontend solutions using advanced JavaScript techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive UI
- Lead frontend architectural decisions and mentor junior developers
- Implement modern frontend frameworks/libraries
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure clean, efficient code
- Troubleshoot complex issues and resolve performance bottlenecks
Requirements
- Extensive experience building sophisticated web applications with JavaScript
- Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and state management tools
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
- Proven ability to drive frontend architecture and lead development initiatives
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design
