UI Designer (Independent Contractor)

Role overview

Work as an Independent Contractor UI Designer for DataAnnotation, helping train AI chatbots. You’ll create and evaluate chatbot prompts and responses, focusing on accuracy, style, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Create diverse conversations across a range of topics
• Develop complex prompts to test AI models
• Write high-quality responses that demonstrate excellence
• Compare and evaluate different AI model outputs
• Research and fact-check AI responses

Requirements

• Fluent English
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
• Experience managing small business communications and/or being self-employed
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Strong fact-checking ability
• Ability to work independently

How projects work

• Remote role with flexibility to choose your own schedule
• Estimated workload: 5–40 hours/week
• Assessment required during the application process; access to projects if you pass
• Projects are assigned based on work quality (ongoing regular projects)

Compensation

• $20–$27 USD/hour
• Bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
