Role Overview
UI Designer (Independent Contractor) at DataAnnotation. Help train AI chatbots by creating prompts, writing high-quality responses, and evaluating outputs from different AI models. Remote work with the ability to choose your own schedule and projects.
Responsibilities
- Create diverse conversations across a range of topics
- Write high-quality answers in response to specific prompts
- Compare and evaluate the performance of different AI model outputs
- Research and fact-check AI responses against accuracy and style guidelines
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
- Experience managing small business communications and/or being self-employed
- Strong writing and research skills
- Strong fact-checking ability
- Ability to work independently
Nice to Haves
- Interest in applying AI tools in real-world business communication settings
- No prior AI experience required (training is supported via the assessment and projects)
Logistics & Compensation
- Remote: full-time or part-time, choose your own schedule
- Typical workload: 5–40 hours/week
- Pay: $20–$27 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
- Payment via PayPal
- Application includes an assessment; ongoing projects depend on quality
