UI Designer - AI Neobank App

Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a UI Designer to craft intuitive, elegant, high-performing interfaces for its AI and financial products. You will focus on visual quality, interaction details, and usability, designing mobile-first experiences that make complex financial services feel simple, trustworthy, and enjoyable.

What You’ll Own

• Design polished, user-centric mobile and web interfaces
• Convert product requirements into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Create intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments, and other financial services
• Maintain and evolve BJAK’s design system for consistency across products
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver accurate, pixel-perfect implementation
• Iterate using user feedback, analytics, and usability testing
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and visual consistency across devices/platforms
• Improve overall usability, interaction patterns, and visual language

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience designing digital products, with strong focus on mobile
• Strong portfolio showing exceptional visual design, interaction design, and UI craftsmanship (required)
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows (prototyping, components, etc.)
• Solid understanding of mobile-first design, iOS/Android guidelines, and responsive layouts
• UX fundamentals: UX principles, information architecture, and user-centred design
• Ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive interfaces
• Strong attention to detail (visual hierarchy, typography, spacing)
• Ability to clearly explain design rationale and your individual contributions

• Think in complete user journeys (not only screens)
• Work effectively with engineering to reduce friction and build user trust

Location / Work Arrangement

• Remote, but candidates must be based in the United States.
