Role Overview

UGC Engineer (Remote) at BlackMask reports to the Founder. This is a performance and analytics-driven role focused on discovering what creator content works and turning those insights into repeatable direction for creators and product launches.

Responsibilities

Content Analysis
- Review large volumes of TikTok content daily
- Break down hooks, structure, and formats
- Identify why certain videos perform better
Pattern Recognition
- Spot trends across creators and competitors
- Identify repeatable content formats
- Recognize winning patterns early
Performance Tracking
- Track key metrics (views, retention, watch time)
- Compare performance across different content styles
- Continuously refine what works
System Building
- Convert insights into clear, repeatable guidelines
- Standardize how creators approach content
- Help build a scalable content system
Creator Direction Support
- Guide creators using data (not guesses)
- Support content direction for product pushes and launches

Requirements

Extremely motivated and proactive
Strong attention to detail
Naturally good at spotting patterns
Comfortable working through large amounts of content
Clear thinker and communicator
Takes initiative and looks for what needs to be done

Spends significant time on TikTok and actively pays attention to what performs
Enjoys fast-paced environments and hands-on building
Interested in creating a repeatable system for high-performing videos

Compensation

$60k–$75k base + performance bonus (fast growth path)
