About the role

Role Overview

Zoic Labs is hiring a UI/UX Designer to design and develop user interface and experience concepts across multiple platforms (web, desktop, AR, VR, and app design). This is a project-based role with an expected start date of June 2026 for a 6-month project.

Responsibilities

Design and champion engaging, user-centered interfaces across clients and platforms.
Collaborate with leadership, product managers, engineers, and other designers.
Translate wireframes/concepts into high-fidelity, intuitive designs.
Create UI/UX designs, prototypes, and design assets that communicate ideas effectively.
Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and improve user experience.

Requirements

Updated portfolio demonstrating UI/UX skills in digital products.
Strong ability to articulate UI/UX design thinking and the craft.
Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, layout design, usability, and information architecture.
Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a team.
Jira experience.
US Citizenship required.

Project & Location

Remote work accepted within the U.S. (company based in Los Angeles)
No relocation cost coverage

Pay Range

$40/hr – $50/hr (DOE)
