TypeScript Developer

Role Overview

You will join the team as a Senior Software Developer (5–7 years) to design, develop, and deploy an advanced shared services platform. You’ll build scalable, secure, high-performance back-end services using a modern stack and collaborate cross-functionally on architecture and feature delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure, robust software solutions that meet requirements and standards
• Develop clean, efficient, maintainable code with Node.js and TypeScript
• Build and optimize back-end services focused on performance, reliability, and security using MongoDB
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Implement testing strategies using Jest to improve code quality and reduce defects
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define specs and participate in architectural discussions
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Monitor and optimize application performance using Dynatrace and Mezmo
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant software development experience
• Node.js and TypeScript expertise
• Solid understanding of GraphQL, especially Apollo GraphQL
• Proficiency with MongoDB (NoSQL)
• Strong grasp of testing frameworks (Jest)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; comfortable in a collaborative team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools: Dynatrace and Mezmo
• Cloud platform experience (especially Azure)
• Agile experience and mentoring junior developers
• A Master’s degree in a related field
