TypeScript Developer

Role overview

You’ll help evaluate and improve AI-generated TypeScript code to ensure it meets production-quality standards (type safety, scalability, and modern best practices). This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role where you work independently and asynchronously.

What you’ll do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated TypeScript for correctness, type safety, and adherence to modern best practices
• Solve complex tasks using idiomatic TypeScript (e.g., generics, utility types, modern patterns)
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining architectural decisions and type logic
• Identify and explain weaknesses in AI code, from subtle type errors to larger design issues
• Write clear technical summaries that help AI systems understand strong type-system reasoning

Requirements

• Deep expertise in TypeScript: static typing, generics, interfaces, conditional types, and utility types
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with modern frontend/full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, or Nuxt.js
• Strong architectural instincts and the ability to explain why designs work
• Excellent written communication skills
• Self-directed and reliable working independently
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (preferred)

Nice to have

• Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows
• Familiarity with code review processes or technical documentation
• Background in developer tooling, type system design, or compiler theory
• Prior freelance/contract development experience

Logistics

• Remote, 10–40 hours/week
• Hourly contract; potential for ongoing work and extensions
