About the role

Role Overview

You’ll be an experienced TypeScript Developer (AI Training) who evaluates, critiques, and guides AI-generated TypeScript code. The goal is to ensure the code demonstrates strong type safety, scalability, and modern best practices—not to build a product, but to improve the “intelligence” behind coding tools.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated TypeScript for:
    • correctness
    • type safety
    • adherence to modern best practices
  • Solve complex problems using idiomatic TypeScript (e.g., generics, utility types) and modern frameworks
  • Provide detailed, structured feedback that explains architectural decisions and type logic in a way AI models can learn from
  • Identify and explain weaknesses in AI-generated code (from subtle type errors to larger design flaws) and suggest fixes
  • Write clear technical summaries linking type system concepts to AI understanding
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule (10–40 hours/week)

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, including:
    • static typing
    • generics
    • interfaces
    • conditional types
    • utility types
  • 3–5+ years hands-on experience with modern frontend/full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, or Nuxt.js
  • Strong architectural instincts (not just what works, but why)
  • Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex technical decisions
  • Self-directed and reliable working without day-to-day oversight
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with code review processes or technical documentation
  • Background in developer tooling, type system design, or compiler theory
  • Prior freelance/contract development experience

Work Setup

  • Fully remote
  • Hourly contract
  • 10–40 hours/week
  • Potential for ongoing work/contract extension
