TypeScript Developer

Role Overview

TypeScript Developer (AI Training) at Alignerr. You’ll evaluate, critique, and guide AI-generated TypeScript code to ensure it meets real-world standards for type safety, scalability, and modern best practices. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role (10–40 hours/week) designed for senior TypeScript specialists.

What You’ll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated TypeScript for correctness, type safety, and adherence to modern best practices
• Solve complex problems using idiomatic TypeScript (e.g., generics, utility types) and modern frameworks
• Provide detailed, structured feedback that explains architectural decisions and type logic clearly
• Identify weaknesses in AI-generated code, including subtle type errors and broader design flaws, and explain how to fix them
• Write technical summaries bridging strong type systems with how AI should understand them
• Work independently and asynchronously, on your own schedule

Requirements

• Deep expertise in TypeScript, including static typing, generics, interfaces, conditional types, and utility types
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, or Nuxt.js
• Strong architectural instincts (not just what works, but why)
• Excellent written communication skills to explain complex decisions clearly
• Self-directed and reliable when working without day-to-day oversight
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows
• Familiarity with code review processes or technical documentation
• Background in developer tooling, type system design, or compiler theory
• Prior freelance/contract development experience
