Role Overview

Full-stack TypeScript Software Engineer to join a product development team working on high-impact projects, including a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement a loan origination system using Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, React, Camunda, and AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, Aurora).
• Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to define functional requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-quality backend and frontend components across the software lifecycle.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Agile practices (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and drive continuous improvement.
• Proactively share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism regarding client information.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of GraphQL (preferably Apollo or federated GraphQL).
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, including: EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, Aurora.
• Working knowledge of SQL and React.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with the full software lifecycle (requirements through post-implementation support).
• Linux command-line proficiency.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, integrity, and proactive problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Camunda and BPM/workflow systems (explicitly referenced in responsibilities).
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
