Role overview

Build and improve trading technology for BitMEX’s crypto derivatives platform, supporting a high-performance environment where low latency, liquidity, and availability are critical.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain components of a crypto derivatives trading platform.
Optimize for performance and reliability in latency-sensitive trading systems.
Support platform availability and operational stability.

Requirements

Experience working on trading/financial systems or similarly performance-critical software.
Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to build production-grade systems.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, security- and reliability-focused environment.

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with crypto derivatives markets and trading concepts (e.g., perpetual swaps).
