Role Overview
Trades Generalist (TRADES GENERALIST/SG-12) Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, installation, and construction tasks across multiple trade areas.
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance, repair, installation, and construction work
- Work across trade disciplines including:
- Mechanical trades
- Building trades
- Motor equipment trades
- Electrical trades
- Specific duties will be discussed during the interview
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson, providing training equivalent to that given in a training/apprenticeship (or equivalent program)
- OR an equivalent combination of experience and training from completion of technical courses in skilled trades
- When required to operate motor vehicles: valid New York State driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
