About the role

Role Overview

Test Automation Engineer to support XedaLink’s quality practice by building, maintaining, and improving automated tests for web applications, APIs, and integrations. You’ll work hands-on within the automation strategy set by QA leadership and partner with QA, product, and engineering teams to validate quality throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

Automation development & maintenance
- Develop and enhance automated test suites and framework components for UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Execute automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines as directed by QA leadership
- Identify opportunities to expand and improve automation coverage
Hands-on testing & analysis
- Use modern testing tools/frameworks to create reliable automated tests
- Debug and analyze failures, isolate defects, and report clear issues to product and engineering
- Maintain test data, environments, and documentation to support release readiness
Quality partnership
- Apply QA best practices in test design, automation, defect management, and release validation
- Participate in sprint ceremonies/refinement/planning and readiness discussions with quality-focused input
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, developers, and product to improve quality continuously

Requirements / Qualifications

Strong QA foundation
Practical test automation experience
Ability to translate requirements and acceptance criteria into reliable automated coverage

Nice-to-haves (implied)

Experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Postman
Experience working within CI/CD and contributing to automated regression and integration testing
