Territory Sales Officer
Location: UP (location flexibility preferred) — Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
Role Overview
Drive territory sales performance for Unilever by executing personal selling, managing the distributor system, and using market and MIS data to identify gaps and improve execution across your geography.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through market visits, personal selling, and driving the distribution system.
- Manage distributor operations across front-end and back-end infrastructure.
- Use MIS reports to analyze performance, identify gaps/opportunities, and improve execution.
- Negotiate with distributors and develop distributor teams to improve customer management.
- Build and leverage trade relationships to strengthen market position.
- Provide market feedback and reports to the branch office.
- Improve competitive position via better customer service.
- Monitor distributor and distributor sales team performance and take corrective actions for infrastructure gaps.
- Support/execute promotional activities in the territory.
Requirements
- Minimum full-time graduation.
- At least 2 years of experience in channel sales.
- Strong skills in ROI calculations and RS distribution management.
- Knowledge of RS appointment and sales planning.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel).
- Decent communication in English and the local language.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with promotional planning and execution at territory level.
