About the role

Role Overview

Technology Lead at Huge, remote within the United States, with a strong UI and front-end focus. You’ll lead front-end architecture and implementation for a digital platform primarily built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), while maintaining awareness of the broader full-stack ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of high-quality UI components and front-end architectures.
  • Implement high-fidelity front-end designs with pixel accuracy and strong performance across devices/browsers.
  • Guide the team on web development best practices, architecture, and code quality.
  • Collaborate across the web stack: integrate front-end solutions with backend teams and enterprise platforms.
  • Contribute to AEM implementation and integration.
  • Apply modern front-end practices such as modular architecture and build tooling.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure maintainable, scalable, and performant code.
  • Work closely with UX designers, product teams, and engineers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
  • Identify technical risks and architectural gaps early.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to maintain consistent engineering quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in web development, including experience in senior engineer or technical lead roles.
  • Strong front-end expertise: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Experience with modern build tools, especially Webpack.
  • Proven experience delivering web platforms launched to production.
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management / Experience Management platforms.
  • AEM experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Java or Java-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, especially React.

Nice to Haves

  • TypeScript
  • Sass/SCSS or other CSS preprocessors
  • Understanding full-stack integration patterns
  • Experience in enterprise or agency environments

Location / Eligibility Notes

  • Remote within the United States.
  • The role is not available for hire/work in Colorado, New Mexico, and Hawaii.
