Technology Audit Senior Manager

Role Overview

Join Devoted Health as a Technology Audit Senior Manager to build and execute a modern, technology-focused internal audit function. This is a hands-on, player-coach role leading end-to-end audits across cloud, cybersecurity, and AI-enabled environments.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end technology audits and special projects, including:
  • risk assessment and audit planning
  • fieldwork and testing
  • workpaper preparation and issue development
  • audit reporting
• Shape the IT/information systems audit methodology, tools, and approach, including how Internal Audit evaluates risk in cloud-native and AI-driven organizations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by building relationships with business, technology, and risk leaders, and ensure audit work complies with IIA Standards and internal quality expectations.

Required Profile

• Hands-on experience using or building AI tools/agents.
• Experience evaluating AI governance, risks, and controls across:
  • generative AI
  • AI-enabled processes
  • agentic systems
  • general IT controls
• Experience auditing cloud-native environments, including:
  • AWS/GCP
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • DevSecOps practices
  • cybersecurity domains such as:
    • vulnerability management
    • IAM (Identity & Access Management)
    • incident response
    • network security
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present findings to senior leadership.
• Proven ability to independently execute end-to-end audits (planning through reporting), including documentation and issue development.
• Ability to operate hands-on in a lean environment while coaching and reviewing the work of others.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or internal audit in healthcare organizations, such as:
  • claims
  • electronic health records (EHR)
  • care delivery
  • revenue cycle
  • provider networks
• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as: CIA, CISA, CISSP, CPA, ISACA AAIA, IAPP AIGP.
