About the role

Role Overview

Technician Field Service (Field Service Diesel Technician) with Cummins in the Hunter region, based at the Muswellbrook branch. The team specializes in heavy vehicle service, repairs, and maintenance for high-horsepower mining and industrial applications.

What You’ll Do

Deliver a first-class service to mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician
Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks
Provide support for new Tier 4 HHP engines (after completing Cummins technical training)

What You’ll Need

Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle / Heavy Diesel)
Valid driver’s license
Preferred: experience as a Diesel Mechanic servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines, and similar applications

Shift / Work Pattern

5 on 4 off (day/night shift)
On-site role with lifestyle roster; includes a tool of trade vehicle and mine site allowance
