Technical Solutions Engineer

Role: Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE)

You’ll support developers integrating with Stripe by explaining technical concepts, building and debugging integrations, and creating documentation and examples that help users succeed.

What you’ll do

• Help external developers build applications against Stripe using multiple languages and frameworks (Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, Node.js, .NET, React.js, React Native, Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java for Android).
• Unblock integration challenges via email, ticketing, internal issue trackers, community platforms (e.g., StackOverflow), and real-time chat (e.g., Slack/Discord).
• Create and improve docs and resources: guides, examples, integration demos, and code snippets.
• Identify product friction developers experience and partner with engineering teams to improve Stripe products.
• Participate in engineering rituals such as planning sessions, design reviews, and development meetings.
• Build internal support tooling for TSE and Support (e.g., an RAG-based LLM “Copilot” tool and an Invoice Explainer Admin tool).
• Act as a developer advocate by sharing training internally and answering integration questions in real time.
