About the role

Role Overview

Technical Project Manager responsible for solution deployment and project management for IoT/RTLS customer programs. The role supports installing hardware/software at client sites, handling network configuration, and managing technical delivery for North American customers.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with North American organizations to implement asset and inventory management programs.
Install and deploy IoT hardware, middleware, and software solutions at customer campuses.
Configure and understand network infrastructure and security components, including:
- IP, gateway, subnet; routers, firewalls, switches, servers, load balancers
- Intrusion detection systems (IDS), DNS, and storage systems
Manage customer engagements by:
- Building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective customers
- Understanding customer needs and providing plans to meet them
Identify market trends and apply project management best practices for RTLS deployments.
Share insights and contribute to thought leadership with sales, marketing, R&D, and others.
Support product development based on customer requirements.
Partner with production to resolve quality issues as needed.
Attend trade shows/events/trials/demonstrations and other ad hoc customer activities.
Stay current on company products/services and competitor activities (products, pricing, etc.).

Requirements

4–5+ years experience in a technical program/project management role or technical business development.
Excellent customer relationship management and influencing skills.
Degree-level education in a relevant technical discipline.
IoT expertise with technologies such as UHF RFID, BLE, UWB, WiFi, NFC, and/or barcode.
Strong business analysis skills.
Demonstrated success meeting targets and KPIs.
Ability to work effectively across different cultures.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
Experience contributing to strategic decision-making.
Self-motivated, organized, able to prioritize and solve problems proactively.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience specific to RTLS technology deployments and customer-facing technical programs.
Familiarity with installation/on-site support and customer trials/demonstrations.
