About the role
Role Overview
As a Technical Project Manager I, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and achieve the intended results. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery and provide regular updates to relevant management teams.
Responsibilities
Technical Analysis & Technical Triage / Troubleshooting
- Triage complex technical issues across backend systems and services, using knowledge of underlying data flows to assess systemic impact and severity.
- Manage the engineering escalation pipeline.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on production anomalies and produce detailed post-incident technical reports.
- Write and execute custom SQL Server queries to extract, validate, and analyze operational datasets.
- Run cross-system data validation to ensure structural accuracy, integrity, and completeness of deliverables.
- Coordinate with developers and systems engineering on deployments and maintenance windows.
Project Management & Execution
- Drive tracking and execution in Jira:
- manage the backlog
- track active sprints
- report delivery status
- Translate technical findings and system constraints into clear, actionable insights for non-technical leadership.
Process & Configuration Documentation
- Create configuration control documents with Systems Engineers for architectural versioning.
- Build runbooks and maintain architecture/documentation repositories.
- Maintain and optimize Confluence knowledge bases so information is current and easily searchable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technology field.
- 2+ years in a technical data analysis, product support, or technical project coordination role.
- Strong relational database skills, specifically SQL Server, with ability to write scripts from scratch.
- Deep familiarity with MS Excel (advanced formulas, data cleanup, pivot tables).
- Solid understanding of backend systems and automated data flows.
- Experience reviewing server/application logs to debug software bugs or data pipeline failures.
