About the role

Role Overview

Join EnergyHub as a Technical Program Manager (Utility Integrations). You’ll lead complex integration programs with utility clients, manage a portfolio of integration projects end-to-end, and clearly communicate the value of EnergyHub’s platform APIs to internal teams and external partners.

Key Missions

Lead complex utility integrations: manage the full project lifecycle from requirements discovery to launch.
Champion EnergyHub platform APIs: convey key use cases and benefits to clients and partners.
Coordinate cross-functional and external stakeholders: work with internal teams and utility/external counterparts to ensure successful integration outcomes.

Responsibilities

Manage project scope, stakeholders, and execution in a fast-paced environment.
Drive effective collaboration across teams while operating within existing resources.
Communicate complex needs/issues clearly and influence decisions to advocate for change.
Provide leadership over technical/implementation overviews for external parties.

Requirements

Strong technical skill set with excellent organization and communication.
Project management experience using tools/frameworks/processes.
Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Clear, precise, actionable communication to influence and drive outcomes.

Helpful / Nice-to-Haves

Energy industry experience, especially demand side or DER management.
Experience with support tools/systems used by external parties to log/prioritize/resolve issues.
REST API architecture: status codes and authentication.
Experience with cloud-based SaaS products.
Strong external communication with customers/partners/vendors.
Experience with demand response, API integrations, and communication protocols such as IEEE 2030.5 and OpenADR.
Understanding of residential DERs (e.g., smart thermostats, battery energy storage, EVs) and their grid benefits.
Familiarity with utility systems such as ADMS, DERMS, SCADA.
Curiosity and strong desire to learn.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience in technical program management, product management, developer relations, or related roles.
