Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Location: 100% Remote (United States)

Contract: 09+ month contract (possible extension), target start Apr 2026

Compensation: $76.97/hr on W2 (medical, dental, vision). Note: not open to C2C candidates.

Responsibilities

Lead complex technical programs/projects from conception to completion
Own detailed project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
Perform risk management: identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
Coordinate and allocate resources to ensure well-supported project teams
Ensure project quality standards via testing and validation oversight
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies
Maintain project forecasts in PM systems (monitor progress/actuals and resource needs)
Manage vendor selection and management
Facilitate quarterly planning, including strategic task planning and dependency management
Manage impediments and provide status reporting across multiple levels
Enable cross-team collaboration to mitigate dependencies and support continuous integration/delivery
Align and synchronize multiple agile teams toward common program goals

Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) delivering large-scale technical projects
Strong technical program management background with successful delivery track record
Exceptional leadership skills managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations
Experience building project forecasts and managing resource needs in PM systems
Proficiency with Jira and Smartsheet
Strong advocate for Agile principles and experience advancing Agile methodologies
Effective impediment management and facilitation of cross-team communication

Experience ensuring alignment across multiple agile teams for program-level goals
Experience facilitating quarterly planning and strategic dependency management across teams
