About the role
Role Overview
Technical Program Manager to lead one or more highly complex, enterprise-wide IT programs composed of multiple projects.
Location/Work setup: Philadelphia, PA (Remote), must work EST hours.
Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026
Responsibilities
- Own program strategy, including the business case and enterprise-wide high-level project plans.
- Ensure integration across projects; adjust scope, timing, and budgets as business needs evolve.
- Coordinate and communicate program direction and changes with IT leadership, business leadership, and IT business consultants.
- Ensure delivery of the projects in the IT project portfolio: on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic/business requirements.
- Track key milestones and recommend adjustments to Project Managers.
- Partner with senior business leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for using IT to achieve enterprise goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Project Management certification required.
- 7–10 years of IT and business/industry experience.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role and 5 years managing projects.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing enterprise portfolios with multiple Project Managers/leaders and program support staff (single or multiple incumbents).
