About the role
Role Overview
Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs for a retail client’s Marketing Technology and Loyalty initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs across multiple engineering and business teams
- Coordinate cross-functional work with Engineering, Product, UX, Marketing, and other stakeholders
- Build and manage program plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
- Drive alignment and ensure on-time execution across teams
- Facilitate program governance: executive status reporting and stakeholder communications
- Identify and proactively resolve risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on roadmaps, delivery strategies, and implementation plans
- Track program health and delivery metrics
- Promote program management best practices and continuous process improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager/Program Manager/Technical Project Manager for enterprise technology initiatives
- Proven experience leading large cross-functional technical programs with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery
- Experience managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams/workstreams
- Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment
- Excellent written/verbal communication, including presentations to executives and technical teams
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar Agile program management tools)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Marketing Technology (MarTech), Loyalty, CRM, customer engagement, or digital product initiatives
- Retail or consumer-facing technology experience
- Experience in large enterprise organizations
- Experience coordinating complex programs involving multiple systems
Contract & Location
- W-2 contract for 12 months (benefits available)
- Remote; location listed as Minnesota, United States
