Role Overview
Kobie Marketing is hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Product to drive execution across its product portfolio and improve delivery across engineering teams. This role is a process leader focused on operations, workflow management, and delivery visibility (not a software developer).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from intake & discovery through delivery, ensuring alignment to strategic goals and client commitments.
- Maintain visibility into product and feature queues, including dashboards for:
- queue volume
- SLA adherence
- backlog health
- delivery timelines
- Ensure smooth flow of requests/tasks across queues to reduce wait times and improve service delivery.
- Use data/metrics to identify improvement areas and recommend actions to leadership.
- Lead quarterly planning and facilitate quarterly commitment alignment across teams.
- Use Jira to review and track Product Owner (PO) updates for features within Program Increments (PIs).
- Ensure POs document scope, budget, and timeline changes, including risks, before execution; report updates to leadership.
- Track and drive resolution of risks and issues through to completion.
- Automate status/progress reporting using integrated tools.
- Provide clear stakeholder communication, including executive-ready summaries of status, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Act as primary internal point of contact for:
- product requests in PM
- product backlog and feature status
- active development work
- implementation of product features
- client-committed initiatives
- Collaborate with POs and stakeholders on feature scope definition and deliverable schedules.
- Coordinate cross-team handoffs with engineering and managers.
- Support prioritization of product initiatives based on strategic objectives, resource constraints, and ROI.
- Evolve templates/frameworks/dashboards and optimize workflows for clarity, consistency, and transparency.
- Drive business transition management so delivered features meet intended value.
- Use metrics and trends to guide continuous improvement and operational maturity.
