Key missions: Lead and manage complex technical programs across Ads and Core Infrastructure, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.. Drive the roadmap and operating model for AI-native engineering practices across Pinterest, improving developer productivity through AI-assisted coding and deployment safety.. Coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity on ownership, milestones, risks, and technical dependencies. Profile: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using metrics, dashboards, and data to drive decision-making - Technical fluency in infrastructure and platform concepts such as distributed systems, service dependencies, reliability, APIs, automation, cloud infrastructure, or developer tooling. The uploaded kits repeatedly emphasize technical breadth and judgment rather than coding depth - Workflow design, AI fluency, data & insights orientation: experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms and improving decision-making by using GenAI (e.g., strong prompting, vibe coding lightweight scripts/tools, dashboards, data analysis and leveraging agents where appropriate) - 3+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs in infrastructure, platform, backend, or ads-related environments - Strong technical program management fundamentals, including roadmap planning, dependency management, risk tracking, issue resolution, and execution at scale - Safety-by-design AI fluency: experience operating within AI governance expectations (risk assessment, data handling, model/output validation, auditability/traceability) and proactively identifying where AI use is not appropriate or requires additional controls - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and business stakeholders in high-visibility settings - AI-first execution mindset: demonstrated ability to use GenAI to accelerate planning, program operations, and stakeholder communications—starting with AI drafts and applying strong judgment to validate, refine, and drive decisions - Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, setting structure, and driving alignment across teams with competing priorities.
