About the role

Role overview

Technical Program Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery of infrastructure network programmes in a fully remote (US) role. Own deployment and retrofit delivery from planning through handoff, ensuring management and facility network infrastructure lands on time, on spec, and ready to operate.

What you will own

  • End-to-end programme delivery globally for:
    • New builds
    • Retrofits
    • End-of-life hardware replacements
  • Create and run the programme plan:
    • Define milestones and manage the critical path
    • Translate 12-month supply execution plans into weekly operating plans
  • Lead H1 and H2 planning cycles
  • Ensure hardware and supply chain accountability:
    • Order BOMs correctly and on time
    • Track hardware deliveries to site
    • Manage Hardware Need-By Dates across internal teams
    • Identify long-lead procurement risks early and escalate quickly
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies across network engineering, supply chain, security, and operations
  • Run proactive issue detection, escalation, and resolution (do not wait for problems to surface)
  • Establish and maintain programme governance:
    • Programme trackers, status decks, risk registers
    • Executive reporting and lessons learned reviews
    • Ensure leadership is never surprised by programme status

What you need

  • Proven programme management rigour in complex infrastructure environments
  • Experience managing multi-workstream programmes with hard deadlines
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure when ambiguity is high
  • Hands-on experience managing infrastructure network deployments in data centres or mission-critical environments
  • Understanding of getting infrastructure from design → commissioning → operational handoff
  • Technical fluency (not necessarily as an engineer) to confidently discuss:
    • Out-of-band connectivity
    • Facility networks
    • Device management networks
    • Disaster recovery (DR) backbone architecture
  • Strong BOM and hardware procurement management experience:
    • Tracking lead times and coordinating deliveries
    • Ensuring correct hardware arrives when needed
  • Strong plus: end-of-life / end-of-support retrofit experience
  • Vendor/contractor accountability in multi-vendor delivery environments:
    • Keep external partners aligned
    • Escalate when needed while maintaining relationships

Location

  • Fully remote, United States
