About the role

Role Overview

Technical Program Manager (Remote, US)

  • Own retrofit projects end-to-end, from ideation through execution and validation.
  • Coordinate across multiple engineering and operational functions to ensure projects meet goals for schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes to implement product upgrades via field retrofits.
  • Participate in retrofit sprints to keep programs on track and on budget.
  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives aligned to organizational objectives.
  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure program goals are met.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive change.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing concepts to determine the best course of action for each product upgrade/field retrofit.
  • Manage program budgets and funding channels.
  • Write execution white papers for large-scale retrofit projects for internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Create program funding proposals to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Analyze program risks and manage mitigations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve blockers.
  • Coordinate, track, and escalate roadblocks or challenges with strong attention to detail.
  • Collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) data; share lessons learned and success stories during review workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related Program Manager role.
  • Strong leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana).
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing concepts.
