Technical Program Manager (Healthcare)

Role Overview

Technical Program Manager (Healthcare) responsible for planning, executing, and governing complex, large-scale enterprise programs in a healthcare technology context.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of complex, large-scale programs aligned to organizational objectives and business priorities.
• Provide multi-team leadership across diverse project groups; drive collaboration and high performance.
• Own end-to-end operational delivery, ensuring accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and execute migration and transition strategies to move critical systems and data with minimal disruption.
• Establish program governance including risk management, issue resolution, and change control.
• Drive continuous improvement in program management methodologies and operating practices.
• Manage program budgets and resource allocation to achieve outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and expectation management.
• Mentor and develop senior program/project managers; foster a culture of excellence.
• Define and monitor KPIs for program success and implement corrective actions.
• Champion best practices and continuous innovation in program delivery.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Requirements

• 15–18 years of progressive program management experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record leading complex, large-scale initiatives.
• Advanced expertise in large-scale transition and migration programs with successful adoption across organizations.
• Strong program/project execution skills: strategic planning, multi-team coordination, and delivery of high-impact initiatives.
• Foundational understanding of EHR/EMR platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience building/using program governance frameworks and continuous improvement processes.

Work Model

• Hybrid: on-site collaboration at the Santa Clara facility plus remote work flexibility.

Compensation

• Estimated base salary in the United States: $150K–$160K (base salary only).
