Technical Program Manager

Role Overview

Technical Program Manager (Individual Contributor) at FORT Robotics, reporting to the Director of Technical Program Management. You will drive end-to-end execution of cross-functional product and engineering initiatives, ensuring programs stay on track with clear risks and aligned teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned cross-functional programs across the full lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project/program roadmaps with transparency on priorities, dependencies, milestones, and risks.
• Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales using structured planning cycles, reviews, and release coordination.
• Apply and improve FORT’s program management processes and tooling (lean, repeatable, audit-ready).
• Proactively identify and resolve blockers, dependencies, and resource constraints before they impact delivery.
• Partner with engineering leads and product managers to ensure customer commitments are correctly scoped, tracked, and met.
• Provide timely and accurate program status updates to teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Promote a culture of ownership, clarity, and continuous improvement within your programs.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in product, program, or project management (ideally fast-moving hardware and/or software environments).
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in robotics, autonomy, industrial tech, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile and stage-gate delivery methodologies, with sound judgment on when to use each.
• Strong communication skills: translate technical complexity into clear, actionable stakeholder updates and hold teams accountable.
• Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-changing environment with ambiguity.
• Familiarity with safety-critical or regulated product development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in safety-critical autonomy/robotics programs and/or regulated industrial technology environments.
