Technical Program Manager

Role Overview

Join Cohere as a Technical Program Manager (Full remote). You’ll drive execution excellence across the product portfolio by establishing scalable processes, running cross-functional programs, and managing dependencies, risks, and project tracking.

Key Missions

• Establish and scale foundational processes to help teams execute faster and more effectively across the growing platform.
• Run cross-functional programs with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success to deliver features on time and within scope.
• Map dependencies and risks across the ecosystem and communicate status clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot cross-functional challenges and unblock teams.
• Manage project tracking tools and ensure consistent workflow/process execution.
• Operate at both tactical and strategic levels, especially in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Technical or Engineering Program Manager, ideally in startup or high-growth environments.
• Strong bias for action; able to move from problem identification to solution implementation.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Linear, Jira) for managing workflows.
• Ability to work across multiple customer environments and triage requests.
• Excellent communication skills across technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/ML products or technical platforms.
