About the role
Technical Program Manager (Quality Assurance Lead)
Lead quality strategy and execution across a complex, multi-workstream healthcare program, ensuring alignment across QA, SIT, UAT, end-to-end testing, and performance testing. Drive visibility into overall quality health and risk for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality strategy and execution across a large-scale program with 30+ interrelated projects
- Oversee all testing phases: QA, SIT, UAT, end-to-end, and performance testing
- Establish and enforce testing standards, entry/exit criteria, and best practices
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure testing reflects real-world operational scenarios
- Translate technical testing risks into clear business impacts for leadership
- Define, track, and report quality metrics to communicate program health
- Provide quality assessments and recommendations for go/no-go decisions at key milestones
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams to ensure alignment across IT, QA, and business
- Oversee defect management from identification through resolution
- Drive continuous improvement across testing practices, tools, and processes
- Support dashboarding and reporting for quality metrics (as needed)
Requirements
- 10+ years leading QA/testing efforts across complex enterprise programs
- Ability to operate strategically and hands-on across testing and program delivery
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies: QA, SIT, UAT, end-to-end testing
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
- Strong stakeholder influence and communication across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience defining and reporting quality metrics and program health
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira and test management platforms
Nice-to-haves
- Healthcare or other regulated industry experience
- Reporting/dashboard experience with Power BI or Tableau
Logistics
- Remote, but must be based in OR, WA, ID, or UT
- Must be able to work Pacific Time hours
