Technical Product Owner

Role overview

Pride Health is seeking a Technical Product Owner to support the development and delivery of digital healthcare products and operational workflows in a 100% remote setting. You will bridge business and technical teams by gathering requirements, defining technical specifications, and enabling Agile/Scrum product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, users, and technical teams to define, document, and prioritize product requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, acceptance criteria, user stories, and system validation requirements.
• Support the full product lifecycle: planning, analysis, implementation, deployment, and operational support.
• Perform cost-benefit and risk analysis for products, services, and technical solutions.
• Partner with Scrum/Agile teams to ensure sprint and release goals are met.
• Facilitate communication to align product vision with technical delivery.
• Analyze and validate business and system requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Define scope boundaries, timelines, and deliverable schedules.
• Conduct root cause analysis and identify solutions to technical/operational challenges.
• Review vendor solution architecture and support integration into enterprise systems and workflows.
• Assist with deployment coordination and implementation planning.
• Create and maintain project documentation (e.g., project charters, plans, work assignments).
• Apply systems engineering methodologies and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage competing priorities and changing stakeholder needs; support change management activities.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Healthcare, or related field, plus 3+ years relevant technical experience; or 7+ years relevant technical experience.
• 1–3 years experience as a Product Owner (or similar).
• Experience developing mobile and/or web products.
• Experience working with Scrum teams and Agile development environments.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture and system integration.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to mitigate roadblocks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environments; knowledge of healthcare systems and workflows.
• Knowledge/experience with Epic APIs and healthcare integrations.
• Scrum Product Owner certification (or willingness to obtain within one year).
