About the role
Role Overview
Bayforce is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) and enterprise data sourcing & integration initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Product Owner for Oracle FSDF data sourcing and integration initiatives.
- Own and manage the product backlog: prioritization, refinement, sprint planning, and roadmap development in Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Partner with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to define and prioritize data sourcing requirements.
- Gather, document, and validate business/technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive alignment between source systems, Oracle FSDF data models, and downstream reporting/analytics.
- Collaborate across design, build, testing, and deployment with development and QA teams.
- Lead Agile ceremonies: daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Oversee data sourcing, mapping, transformation, and integration for FSDF subject areas.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, lineage, governance, and reconciliation across source-to-target processes.
- Work with data architects/SMEs to understand FSDF data models, business rules, and regulatory reporting needs.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments affecting delivery timelines.
- Use Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement using Agile best practices and lean/product management techniques.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Product Owner / Technical Product Owner / Business Analyst for enterprise data sourcing.
- Prior Product Owner experience on Oracle FSDF implementations or enhancements.
- Experience with Oracle FSDF data models and financial services data domains.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data lineage, and source-to-target mapping.
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting, risk, finance, or enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
- Proficiency with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking/financial services and/or other highly regulated industries.
Additional Notes
- Duration runs from the start date through 12/31/2026, with an option to extend 6 months and potential conversion to FTE.
