About the role

Role Overview

Technical Product Manager for mobile app attribution & measurement within StackAdapt’s Advertising Technology team. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to build a competitive mobile app user acquisition product using existing infrastructure and ML capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership & expertise in mobile app attribution and measurement; guide cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • MMP partnerships: work with Mobile Measurement Partners (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer, Kochava, Branch) to provide performance recommendations and implement new features.
  • Technical analysis: understand StackAdapt’s ad serving, bidding, and ML pipeline to identify MMP-specific customizations and gaps.
  • Competitive strategy: propose methodologies and enhancements to keep StackAdapt competitive versus other mobile DSP solutions.
  • Data collaboration: partner with Data Analytics & BI to build automated and ad-hoc reporting, dashboards, and tools for campaign performance analysis.
  • Issue resolution: coordinate with MMPs to handle open customer issues and ensure timely, clear communication.
  • Engineering collaboration: refine ad server architecture, improve bidding strategies, and optimize ML models for mobile-specific use cases.
  • UI/UX enhancements: collaborate with the UI/UX Product Manager to improve advertiser/campaign reporting interfaces using SKAN and MMP attribution insights.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience as a Technical Product Manager delivering solutions in advertising technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or related (Master’s a plus).
  • Strong technical proficiency with ad servers, bidding mechanisms, auctions, DSPs/SSPs, and MMPs (mobile app user acquisition focus).
  • Deep attribution & measurement knowledge including first-click, last-click, view-through, click-through, and SKAN on iOS and Android.
  • Knowledge of key mobile metrics: CPI, IPM, C2I.
  • SQL and analytics skills to derive actionable insights and inform product decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Master’s degree (Computer Science/Business/Data Science or related).
