Technical Product Manager

Role: Technical Product Manager

Independence Pet Group is hiring a Technical Product Manager to lead product planning and execution for technical product capabilities and partner integrations.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage product roadmaps and define the feature/capability set for business solutions.
• Work with technology teams on tactical product functionality decisions.
• Manage projects end-to-end through phases and milestones (typically across one or more development teams).
• Propose and manage demand for application work.
• Perform market and competitor analysis.
• Author Product Requirement Documents (PDDs) and technical specs for engineering handoff and stakeholder alignment.
• Scope and manage partner-facing API and system-to-system integrations, coordinating with external technical teams.
• Translate technical tradeoffs into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Legal, Data, and Engineering (and platform development vendors) to deliver platform and services.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with partner/vendor integrations or vertical SaaS (strongly preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; or an Associate’s degree with a technical certification.

Preferred

• Experience in insurance, animal health, or other regulated/compliance-heavy verticals.
