About the role

Role Overview

As a Technical Product Manager at Clarus Technology, you’ll shape the future of pet insurance technology by leading product initiatives from concept through launch. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Marketing to deliver customer-centric solutions with measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Product execution & delivery: Collaborate with the Director of Product to execute roadmaps and ensure timely feature delivery.
Customer & market insights: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze market trends to guide product decisions.
Requirements & documentation: Translate business needs into clear requirements for design and engineering teams.
Backlog management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Engineering, UI Design, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive smooth launches.
Quality & performance monitoring: Support testing/QA and post-launch analysis.
Go-to-market support: Help create product documentation, training materials, and internal communications for launches.

Required Qualifications

3+ years product management experience (ideally B2B SaaS, insurance tech, or related digital platforms)
5+ years professional experience
Experience launching new commercial products/features
Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as ADO, Jira, and Aha!
Analytical mindset; able to leverage data to make decisions
Technical aptitude and ability to work daily with engineers
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) or Associate’s degree in a technical field or relevant technical certification

Preferred Qualifications

Insurance industry experience (P&C, life, health, or embedded insurance)
Pet health or pet insurance experience
Familiarity with APIs, digital transformation initiatives, and InsurTech platforms
