Technical Product Manager - AI Platform, Remote

Role Overview

Technical Product Manager – AI Platform (Remote) Own the roadmap and execution for Aledade’s AI Platform, enabling internal stakeholders and external AI products. You will work across machine learning systems, data engineering, and applied healthcare AI to deliver production-grade inference pipelines at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the AI Platform roadmap to drive execution and scaling.
• Lead end-to-end ML and LLM platform workstreams: data ingestion, training, deployment, and ongoing optimization using performance metrics and feedback.
• Partner with AI engineers, data scientists, and clinical leadership to deliver reliable inference across millions of patient records.
• Collaborate with business owners to align on vision, constraints, priorities, and end state for the problem space.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into a technical roadmap and communicate trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop user stories including business rationale, requirements, and measurable success criteria.
• Mature proofs of concept with AI researchers into production-ready capabilities; validate model performance using feedback and healthcare validation data.
• Drive short- and long-term roadmaps to maximize value while minimizing risk through iterative delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services, or SaaS.
• Strong understanding of AI and/or machine learning.
• Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and business understanding.
• Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of APIs, DevOps, enterprise software development, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of data engineering principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading AI/ML platform products and scaling platforms vertically and horizontally.
• Track record building/launching AI/ML platforms, tools, or internal services.
• Deep knowledge of MLOps and scalable AI infrastructure (training, deployment, monitoring, observability, reliability).
• Experience with LLMs/generative AI, including prompt engineering and VLMs.
• Background as a data scientist or backend engineer.
• Clinical data literacy (EHR/claims/population health datasets) and experience in healthcare technology environments.
