Role overview

Pantheon is hiring a Technical Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone and strategic partner to the Sr. Director of Product Operations. You will drive operational excellence and governance across the end-to-end Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) SDLC, from ideation through post-launch review.

Key responsibilities

Own operational excellence and governance across the full SDLC (ideation → post-launch review).
Lead tool strategy and integration decisions across the core tool ecosystem; drive adoption of new processes.
Manage systems, tools, and processes at scale, resolving systemic data problems and automating workflows.
Operationalize recurring work into scalable, repeatable workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) teams actually use.
Establish/standardize product analytics and metrics to support launches and post-launch tracking (e.g., Amplitude).
Evaluate, select, integrate, govern, and optimize SDLC tools (e.g., ProductBoard, Jira), ensuring cross-tool alignment.
Ensure SDLC data integrity across product development artifacts.
Design and scale operational frameworks (playbooks, SOPs, governance structures) that hold up at organizational scale.

Requirements

5–7 years in product operations or program management in a SaaS environment.
Strong ability to partner with senior/executive leadership, translating findings into recommendations and owning the operational narrative.
Hands-on automation mindset using scripting, tooling, and AI-assisted workflows.
Experience with Amplitude and product metrics/analytics (or equivalent).
Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and adoption without direct authority.
Deep hands-on expertise with Jira and ProductBoard (or equivalent SDLC tools).
Strong understanding of data flow and integrity across product development artifacts.
Comfortable producing clear, data-informed operational reporting for technical and non-technical audiences.
High autonomy and sound escalation judgment.

Nice to have

Experience/interests with Claude Code and AI-assisted tooling.
Scripting/workflow automation experience with Python or JavaScript.
Additional SDLC tooling familiarity: Jellyfish, Guru, Confluence, Zendesk.
