Technical Leader - Latin America

Role Overview

Azumo is hiring a Technical Leader (Latin America) based in Latin America (located in Buenos Aires, Argentina). You will lead technical teams and help design and deliver scalable, high-performing software solutions across software engineering, data, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, deliverables, and timelines
• Lead the team through Scrum to deliver valuable software solutions
• Set team end goals, delegate tasks, and monitor execution
• Collaborate to identify and fix technical problems
• Supervise system modifications
• Conduct security audits and drive improvements
• Liaise with team members, management, and clients to ensure delivery to standard
• Write progress reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders
• Hire and train technical personnel

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• 10+ years software development experience with Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript/Node.js, or data technologies
• 7+ years experience leading development teams
• English proficiency (C1/C2)
• Deep expertise with Linux and hosted cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, App Engine, or others)
• Practical experience with open-source technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs (REST, OAuth, JSON)
• Self-driven, strong work ethic, and passion for problem-solving
• Strong background in backend development, data systems, or scalable software architecture
