About the role

Role Overview

As a Technical Engagement Manager at Komodo Health (full remote), you will act as a strategic technical lead bridging Komodo’s data ecosystem with customers’ business objectives. You will lead end-to-end delivery of AI tooling, serve as the main customer-facing technical resource, and maintain a feedback loop to ensure solutions solve real patient problems.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of sophisticated AI tooling and integrate Komodo data into healthcare organizations.
Be the primary customer-facing technical resource, ensuring delivery milestones are met on schedule.
Gather and manage requirements with customers, translating needs into an executable technical roadmap.
Serve as the central technical point of contact between Sales, Delivery, Support, and Product to keep internal teams aligned on each customer’s technical roadmap.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts and influence change internally to improve delivery and outcomes.

Requirements

Cloud & Platform Infrastructure: solid operational understanding of AWS, Snowflake data warehousing, and API technologies.
Core Data Skills: strong foundational knowledge of SQL (or similar), database schemas, and data architecture concepts.
Workflow Automation: hands-on experience automating data pipelines/tasks using Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, or scripting.
AI Fluency: strong understanding of core AI/ML concepts and ability to use generative AI tools to accelerate automation and productivity.
Collaborative leadership through sharing knowledge and best practices.
Cross-functional technical communication: ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to both engineers and non-technical business leaders.
HealthTech motivation: genuine drive to improve patient lives with data.
Coordination & delivery management across multiple complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with proactive communication.
Growth mindset & problem solving in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Quantitative background (technical/quantitative degree) or equivalent practical experience.
Healthcare domain exposure from prior work in healthcare/life sciences/healthtech with familiarity of medical/scientific data workflows.

Nice to Have

Strong familiarity with healthcare data workflows beyond baseline exposure (implied by the healthcare domain expertise requirement).
