Technical Business Analyst

Role Overview

Technical Business Analyst in WebstaurantStore’s Development Department (within the Quality Assurance team). You’ll analyze business needs, define requirements, and support testing workflows to help improve software and streamline QA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and gather requirements for project initiatives
• Create user stories and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) facilitation
• Partner with stakeholders and product owners to analyze/validate business needs and set development priorities
• Act as a liaison between the development team and business customers
• Work with software engineers and QA to enhance solutions and ensure alignment with acceptance criteria
• Facilitate meetings and take on Scrum Master duties
• Coordinate development work across multiple development teams

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Software Business Analyst in an Agile Scrum environment
• Understanding of the SDLC
• Strong self-management and ability to adjust to shifting priorities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Interest in technology and e-commerce; willingness to learn broad business activities
• No degree required (relevant skills and experience valued)

Nice to Have

• Relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps or TFS
• Experience/knowledge of warehouse systems
• Experience or knowledge of QA Automation

Location / Work Requirements

• Based in Lititz, PA (remote work qualifications are described)
• Valid physical address required for equipment delivery (no PO boxes)
• Reliable secure high-speed internet (minimum guidance: 75 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up), dedicated quiet home office, and ability to collaborate via chat/webcam
