About the role

Role Overview

As a Technical AI Delivery Manager at The N2 Company, you will oversee the company’s expanding suite of artificial intelligence initiatives. You’ll lead a network of freelance AI specialists and ensure operational excellence for production-ready AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage a bench of freelance AI specialists, sourcing top talent and maintaining strong contributor relationships.
Lead AI projects end-to-end (kickoff to launch), ensuring on-time delivery and clear communication.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and partner with engineering leaders to design scalable solutions.
Promote strong documentation and knowledge sharing to support collaboration and long-term maintainability.
Monitor and support AI systems and automation workflows, troubleshooting proactively to minimize user impact.
Coordinate UAT and production releases with stakeholders to ensure successful launches and adoption.
Support engineering teams with technical troubleshooting of complex issues by providing clear context and recommendations.

Requirements

3+ years in technical project delivery, program management, AI operations, or a related field.
Familiarity with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
Experience managing technical contractors/freelancers/vendors to deliver projects.
Comfort working with leading AI models/tools, including Claude, GPT, or Gemini.
Strong technical writing/documentation skills (requirements and implementation plans).
Understanding of AI systems, LLM integrations, automation workflows, and retrieval-based solutions.
Experience with delivery/project management tools such as Monday.com, Linear, Jira, or Asana.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive projects to completion.

Nice-to-Haves / Differentiators

Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation workflows with n8n/Make/Zapier.
Experience in Martech/Adtech, franchise operations, or other sales/marketing cross-functional environments.
Demonstrated passion for AI through personal or professional experience with LLMs/AI agents/automation.

Work Model & Interviews

Fully remote with core working hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm ET.
Interviews via phone and video.
