Technical Account Manager

Role overview

Join Reality Defender as a Technical Account Manager (TAM), acting as the technical backbone of customer relationships. You will ensure the technical health of a portfolio of enterprise accounts—from onboarding and integration through ongoing support—while partnering with Engineering and Product.

Key missions / responsibilities

• Assure integration, support, and ongoing technical health for a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Diagnose and reproduce integration failures by tracing API calls, reviewing logs and stack traces.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to turn customer feedback from the field into actionable insights.

Requirements

• Strong judgment under ambiguity; you often identify issues before a clear root cause exists.
• Proven cross-functional experience with Engineering and Product; ability to convert customer complaints into actionable signal.
• Experience owning relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 4+ years in technical account management, solutions engineering, or senior technical support, ideally for API-based or ML/AI products.
• Ability to independently stand up and debug API integrations, including:
  • authentication
  • webhooks
  • sandbox/test calls
  • debugging using tools like Postman/curl, logs/traces, and basic scripting (e.g., Python).
• Startup experience: you can build processes rather than only follow existing ones.
• Experience building/debugging webhook-based integrations, OAuth/API key flows, or SDK implementations from scratch.
• Experience working with computer vision or ML model behavior, ideally alongside data science teams.

• Background in trust & safety, security, fraud, or content moderation.
